The Brief:
Isedo therapy will be expanding its business by providing seminars that educate the public on the concept and theories behind the therapy. To publicize these events a series of flyers is required. The flyers should be visually appealing, original in design and should attract the widest possible audience. The flyers will be displayed on notice boards in supermarkets, bookstores, and wellness centers.
The Concept:
Alternative healing is a large and growing market. The variety in advertisement is vast but mainly focused on the representation of extra worldly phenomena and religious icons. The seminar material provided an alternative approach to alternative medicine. It is based on quantifiable scientific theories that are blended with new theories of soul, spirit, and energy. The competing flyers were either black and white or color but I found none that were monochromatic color.
The Solution:
A visual representation of the primary scientific theory, from each of the seminars, was used as the background to the flyers. The first seminar is based on Fourier transformations of waves so I developed a graphic of three overlapping sine waveforms. Two waves are inputs; the third is the composite output that is used in the transformation. The second seminar is based on string theory and multiple realities so a graphic of two fluctuating 3D reality planes was created. The third seminar is based on transformation of thought forms from hate, fear and anger to love, compassion and acceptance. I decided to simplify the beliefs into a sharp, saw like line and a smooth sine based line. The transformation is show in the multiple blend steps between these two lines.
